Our new Parish Council was sworn in this Sunday during the Holy Mass by the diocesan chancellor Rev. Dr. Roy Kaduppil. Rev. Fr Kuriakose Vadana (Mission Director), Rev. Fr. Cyriac Mattathilanickal, Rev. Fr. William Kaliyadan, Rev. Fr. Raju Muringayil, Rev. Fr. Baiju Avittappillil, Rev. Fr. John Karuvelil S.J., Rev. Fr. Mathew Chandrankunnel cmi, Rev. Fr. Paul Parekkattil vc were also present at the occasion.
It was a very auspicious occasion since it was the eve of the most important feast of Malayalees, ONAM. Kerala people consider it a very good omen if something is started during the ONAM season. The energetic new team is in fact a good sign of growth.
Rev. Dr. Roy Kaduppil conducted a seminar for the new parish council members on the same day. The responsibilities of the Parish Council was discussed.

Dear Fr. Kuriakose Vadana and the parishners,
I was extremely happy to be there on the occassion of the birthday celebrations of Fr. Vadana and the Onam celebrations. It was a fantastic event and it showed that you are all one with the Lord. Though the community started as a mustard seed, I am sure you will grow into a big tree envisaging the vision of the Lord. Also the prayer meeting I participated at the House of Jimmy and Anu also showed me how you are all spiritually nourished and well taken care and how much importance you give to the spiritual dimension of life. So I congratulate you all and Fr. Vadana for organising the Syro Malabar community in such wonderful manner. I wish you all a wonderful time and Let the Lord bless you all abundently.
